C.D. (she/her/he/him/they/them)

Headshot of C.D., the storyteller

C.D. is a 65-year-old military veteran. C.D. is Two-Spirit and feels most at home in the woods among the “herons, egrets, deer, and elk.” After the military, C.D. worked as a rancher, deputy, and therapist and has also pursued artistic endeavors. For a brief period, C.D. was a painter. More recently, C.D. completed the forthcoming novel, Black Dragonfish. Now in retirement, C.D. has plans to drive across the U.S. in a camper van with their dog, Journey.
